Sad News From Riau, Sunday, June 6, 10 People Died Due To Exposure To COVID-19
JAKARTA - Spokesman for the Riau COVID-19 Handling Task Force, Dr. Indra Yovi, said that based on current conditions, there are still 4,000 to 5,000 positive cases of COVID-19 in Riau, of which nearly 1,000 people are being treated in hospital.
"More than 1,500 patients are undergoing self-isolation in places provided by the government, and the rest are undergoing isolation at home", he said in Pekanbaru, reported by Antara, Tuesday, June 8.
He detailed that on Sunday, June 6, 2021, there was an addition of 530 positive cases of COVID-19. Pekanbaru is still dominated by 163 cases, followed by Kuantan Singingi 74 cases, Indragiri Hulu 66 cases, Inhil 50 cases, Dumai 29 cases, and Siak 43 cases.

He stated that there were 10 additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 confirmed patients who died on Sunday, June 6, as many as 10 people.
"Yesterday there were 10 people who died as a result of being positively exposed to COVID-19 in Riau Province, consisting of two people from Pekanbaru City, 1 person from Kampar, 2 people from Dumai, 1 person from Inhu, and 1 person from Rokan Hulu", he said.
So far, the total number of COVID-19 cases in Riau Province has reached 63,129 cases with 55,986 recovered cases, said Indra Yovi.
