Hutama Karya Booked Rp3 Trillion Profit, Toll Roads as Main Support

LJAKARTA - PT Hutama Karya (Persero) or HK recorded a net profit of IDR 3.09 trillion throughout the 2025 financial year.

This figure grew 11.6 percent compared to the previous year (yoy), in line with a 17.4 percent decrease in total liabilities from Rp58.04 trillion to Rp47.92 trillion.

Based on the audited financial statements, the profit growth was achieved amid the consolidation of business revenue, reflecting the effectiveness of operational efficiency and financial burden management.

Business profit was recorded at Rp2.74 trillion or up 10.2 percent. Meanwhile, financial burden was successfully suppressed from Rp1.64 trillion to Rp1.24 trillion, or down 24.5 percent in one year.

Hutama Karya President Director Koentjoro said that this achievement was the result of a comprehensive transformation carried out by the company.

"The growth we have recorded is always based on expansion with risk mitigation. This is a growth that is maintained in quality. Profits grow, debt decreases, equity strengthens. We are committed to maintaining this trajectory as a long-term foundation," he said quoted from a written statement, Thursday, April 16.

Koentjoro emphasized that the growth achieved still prioritizes quality through risk mitigation.

In terms of the balance sheet, the company's equity increased to IDR 141.18 trillion, up 2.3 percent year-on-year (yoy).

The strengthening occurred without any new State Capital Participation (PMN) additions throughout 2025. The total consolidated assets were recorded at IDR 189.10 trillion as of December 31, 2025.

Revenue contribution shows a shift in the business model. The toll road operation segment is the main driver with growth of 26.8 percent (yoy).

Revenue from this segment reached IDR 17.33 trillion or equivalent to 68.9 percent of total external revenue of IDR 25.13 trillion.

Expansion through the Government and Business Partnership (KPBU) scheme also strengthens the long-term business foundation.

In 2025, the company signed a Flyover Panorama I Sitinjau Lauik KPBU agreement in West Sumatra worth Rp2.7 trillion.

Previously in 2024, HK also won the KPBU Trans Papua Jayapura-Wamena with a value of IDR 3.3 trillion.

Then, the construction of the Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS) continues, with the Betung-Tempino-Jambi Section 4 section starting commercial operations in September 2025.

Then, on March 29, 2026, Hutama Karya entered its 65th year. The company's journey began in the colonial era as Hollandsche Beton Maatschappij until it became a state-owned enterprise that carried out the mandate of infrastructure development, especially connectivity on the island of Sumatra.

Since July 2025, Hutama Karya's ownership has officially been under PT Danantara Asset Management (Persero). Management stated that the achievement of this performance is part of efforts to maintain the sustainability of the company while supporting national development.
