Consistent in Continuing Transformation, Bank Jakarta Wins TOP BUMD Awards 2026
JAKARTA - Bank Jakarta won a number of award categories at the TOP BUMD Awards 2026 held by Top Business Magazine together with the Regional Autonomy Institute (i-OTDA) and a number of independent institutions in Jakarta, Monday, April 13. This award is a positive appreciation in the midst of the transformation efforts that Bank Jakarta continues to carry out sustainably.
At the 2026 TOP BUMD Awards, Bank Jakarta won the TOP BUMD Awards 2026 BPD Bintang 5 (Excellent) category, Agus Haryoto Widodo as President Director of Bank Jakarta as TOP CEO BUMD 2026, and the achievement of a Golden medal. In addition, the 2026 TOP BUMD Awards also gave appreciation to the Governor of DKI Jakarta Province, Pramono Anung as TOP BUMD 2026 Mentor.
Bank Jakarta President Director, Agus H. Widodo, in a written statement, Tuesday, April 14, expressed his gratitude to all customers and stakeholders for the trust given to Bank Jakarta as a spark of a spirit of continuous improvement.
"It is a pride for us to be able to continue to provide the best service, and contribute to the development of the City of Jakarta," said Agus.
The TOP BUMD Awards 2026 which has been held since 2016 provides an assessment for BUMD through a fairly strict selection process. The assessment stages include filling out a questionnaire, deep interview, to the plenary session of the jury council which determines the winners.
This award is given based on an objective and comprehensive assessment of business performance, innovation, governance, and contribution to regional economic development, of more than 1,170 BUMD throughout Indonesia.
Furthermore, Agus revealed that Bank Jakarta is currently focusing on continuing the transformation agenda in the midst of the reality of the banking industry landscape which is very fast. This is also accompanied by changes in customer behavior, technological developments, and increasingly open and aggressive competition.
"Expectations for Bank Jakarta are getting higher, so in this condition there is no other choice but to change sustainably," said Agus.
In line with this, Bank Jakarta Corporate Secretary Arie Rinaldi said this achievement will be a driving force for Bank Jakarta to strengthen its foundation in continuing to transform into an innovative and adaptive bank.
"Through various initiatives, Bank Jakarta is optimistic that it can continue to accelerate, and take a bigger role than just a bank, namely an enabler of Jakarta's growth as a global city," concluded Arie.
