Raisa Introduces 4th Album Title, It’s Personal

JAKARTA - Coinciding with her birthday, Raisa announced the title of her fourth album It's Personal. The album title was announced through a video uploaded to the @raisa6690 Instagram account. Not only revealing the album title, but Raisa also gave a surprise by releasing 5 (five) introductory songs to the full album which is planned to be released at the end of 2021.

Two days earlier, Raisa released a single titled Tentang Dirimu as well as a video clip on the YouTube channel. Now the song has crossed the 100,000 streams mark while the video clip has been watched more than 150,000 times since its release.

The series of songs in this release is a combination of three songs that have been released, such as Ragu, Kutukan (First Love), and Tentang Dirimu, and two new songs that have not been released by Raisa before, namely Jangan Cepat Berlalu and Love & Let Go. This latest release is not a mini-album, but the first step towards the goal of a full album. Previously Raisa successfully released 3 (three) studio albums, Raisa (2011), Heart To Heart (2013), and Handmade (2016).

All songs on It's Personal were written by Raisa together with the S/EEK producing team consisting of Marco Steffiano, Adrian Rahmat Purwanto, Jessi Mates, and Josh Kunze. The process of working on the song has been carried out since September and completed in November 2020.

“Before and during this pandemic, I gained a lot. Learn about loss, heartbreak, trust, intimacy, and various forms of love. From that experience, I tried to pour all those (feelings) into song lyrics. When sung, it conveys a message and touches the heart of the listener," Raisa said.

In some of the songs in this release, Raisa and the producer team present very diverse arrangements. The song Kutukan (Cinta Pertama) is very groovy, then 90's pop with Love & Let Go. While the song Ragu appears with modern pop arrangements, continued by About Dirimu which carries a minimalist and intimate theme, ending by Jangan Cepat Berlalu which is very powerful and has intense lyrics because in that song Raisa wants to tell about herself as a mother who sees her child.

This release was enthusiastically agreed by Adryanto Pratono, CEO of JUNI Records, Raisa's label. Because the appearance of the songs above further hints that Raisa's latest full album is getting closer.

“Just like most of YourRaisa, I am really waiting for Raisa's full album to be released. I'm the one who most wanted to hear the works she had recorded. Hopefully, later the full album can be a longing cure for all of us after she last released a full album in 2016,” explained Adryanto Pratono, who is familiarly called Boim.
