Etomidate Dealer Arrested in Johar Baru Area, Jakpus

JAKARTA - The Tanjung Priok Port Police Narcotics Unit arrested AS (42) a bandar narkotika jenis Etomidate in a Johar Baru area, Central Jakarta.

The suspect was arrested while hiding in a rented house on Jalan Kawi-kawi Atas, RT 018/008, Johar Baru District, Johar Baru Village, Central Jakarta.

"The suspect was arrested along with 100 pcs of Etomidate as evidence, as well as 2 mobile phones. Then the perpetrator and the evidence were taken to the Tanjung Priok Port Police to conduct further investigation," said the Head of Narcotics at the Tanjung Priok Port Police, AKP Trendy Habibi Aryanto when confirmed, Tuesday, March 31, 2026.

The Head of the Police said that the arrest of the suspect was carried out since Sunday, February 22, 2026 at around 15.30 WIB. The suspect was arrested by the operational team of the team who carried out undercover buy.

Then at 22.00 WIB, the team arrested the suspect. During the body search, clothes and houses, 100 pcs Etomidate and 2 mobile phones were found.

Then the suspects and the evidence were taken to the Tanjung Priok Port Police for further investigation.

For his actions, the perpetrator was charged with Article 114 paragraph (1) of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics and or Article 609 paragraph (1) of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1 of 2026 concerning Criminal Adjustment.
