Government Discusses WFH to Energy Savings in the Midst of Global Uncertainty
JAKARTA - The government held a coordination meeting to formulate strategic policies, including work from home (WFH) arrangements and energy efficiency, as a response to global economic dynamics.
Through a post on the official Instagram account of Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, he explained that the meeting was a follow-up to President Prabowo Subianto's instructions regarding economic policies.
He said that various strategic issues were the focus of discussion, including more adaptive WFH arrangements, targeted budget efficiency, strengthening the B50 policy, and national energy saving measures.
"In this meeting, various strategic steps were discussed, ranging from adaptive Work From Home arrangements, more targeted budget efficiency, strengthening the B50 policy, to proposals for national energy savings," wrote the official account @airlanggahartarto_official.
According to him, all these policies are thoroughly analyzed by considering global dynamics, including conflicts in the Middle East region.
He added that this condition also affects energy stability, supply chains, and the national economy, so that appropriate policy responses are needed.
"All of them are comprehensively studied by considering the development of conflicts in the Middle East and global uncertainties that have an impact on energy stability, supply chains, and the national economy," he said.
Furthermore, Airlangga said the government ensured that every policy was designed to be measured and responsive in order to maintain stability, strengthen national resilience, and encourage sustainable economic growth.
