The driver of the vehicle named M. Nuropik did not know that behind the vehicle there were pedestrians who were exercising. “Before I started the vehicle I reversed, I saw an empty road, no people at all. He also took his car backwards to start pouring water on the trees from the end of the road," he said.
"It's a descending path, it could be that when he looks back he looks empty, even though when he descends there are people who are walking," said Andri, a neighbor of the victim who witnessed the crime scene. "The view of the driver who relies on the rearview mirror is limited," he added.
Not far from the sluice gate, on the descent, he suddenly felt an impact from the back of his car and the speed of the vehicle seemed to hit something. He immediately stopped the operational vehicle. “My grandma and I got out of the car and saw in front of our car someone was groaning in pain, but still conscious. Then I took the car to the nearest health center,” he added.
Arriving at the health center, the man who lived not far from the location was declared dead.
