Google Launches Lyria 3 Pro, an AI Model Specifically for Making Music

Google introduced the Lyria 3 Pro, the latest Artificial Intelligence (AI) model that can create music lasting up to three minutes. This model is claimed to offer very high audio quality.

In this Pro version, Lyria 3 understands more complex musical compositions. Users can now request specific elements in the song they want to create, ranging from the intro, verse, chorus, to the bridge.

Lyria 3 Pro has been integrated into various platforms developed by Google. This model can be accessed through Vertex AI, Google AI Studio, to an AI-based video creation application called Google Vids.

For paid customers, this longer song-making ability is also available on the Gemini app. The presence of Lyria 3 Pro will help creators create special music in their vlogs, podcasts, or tutorial videos.

Google has also added Lyria 3 Pro to its latest platform, ProducerAI. The collaborative tool to help songwriters can develop songs more efficiently and structured.

Google said that the Lyria 3 Pro was developed with a focus on responsibility and intellectual property rights. Therefore, the model was trained using legally valid material.

Lyria 3 Pro also comes with a special filter to prevent the impersonation of certain artist identities. All the music works produced by this AI model will be inserted with Google's SynthID technology.

The technology is an invisible watermark that can help the public identify AI-generated content. This watermark will provide transparency to the creator or listener of the song.
