Orleans Masters 2026: Indonesia has 4 representatives in the quarterfinals

JAKARTA - Indonesia managed to place four representatives in the quarter-finals of the 2026 BWF Super 300 Orleans Masters. The representatives consist of two men's doubles, one women's doubles, and one other doubles.

The series of matches in the 16th round of the competition was completed on Thursday, March 19, 2026, WIB night. Indonesia has a total of seven representatives in this stage, but three of them could not continue their journey to the top eight.

The four representatives who managed to pass the opponent's test were the men's doubles Leo Rolly Carnando/Bagas Maulana and Raymond Indra/Nikolaus Joaquin, women's doubles Rachel Allessya Rose/Febi Setianingrum, and mixed doubles Amri Syahnawi/Nita Violina Marwah.

Leo/Bagas qualified after stopping the French host pair, Baptiste Labarthe/Quentin Ronget, in a two-game match 21-17 and 21-16. They will next meet the pair of Hariharan Amsakarunan/M.R. Arjun from India.

The Raymond/Nikolaus pair also managed to stop the host representatives, namely the Mael Cattoen/Lucas Renoir pair. The second seed was forced to play the rubber game in 55 minutes which ended with a score of 19-21, 21-9, and 21-18.

In the last eight, Raymond/Nikolaus will face Christian Faust Kjaer/Rasmus Kjaer. The Danish pair secured their ticket to the last eight after stopping Kang Khai Xing/Aaron Tai from Malaysia.

Rachel/Febi also had to play a three-game match to get a ticket to the quarterfinals. They stopped the pair of Chen Su Yu/Lee Yu Hsuan from Taiwan with a final score of 14-21, 21-6, and 21-13.

The pair, who are seeded eighth, will next meet Hsu Ya Ching/Sung Yu Hsuan, also from Taiwan. The third seed qualified by stopping Luo Yi/Wang Ting Ge from China.

Then Amri/Nita as the seventh seed continued their journey after locking in a two-game victory 21-13 and 21-12 versus Brian Wassink/Debora Jille from the Netherlands. They will be tested by the second seed Mathias Christiansen/Alexandra Boje from Denmark.

Meanwhile, the three Indonesian representatives who returned in the second round were the men's singles Anthony Sinisuka Ginting, the women's doubles Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma/Meilysa Trias Puspitasari, and the mixed doubles Dejan Ferdinansyah/Bernadine Anindya Wardana.
