Chicken Siomay Recipe in a Box Can Be a Delicious Snack for Eid

Siomay dough ingredients:

300 gr chicken thigh ground 120 ml of water 2 tsp salt 1 1/2 tsp granulated sugar 1 tsp mushroom broth 1/2 tsp of pepper 2 tsp oyster sauce 2-3 cloves of garlic 1 stalk of scallion, sliced 150 gr cabbage, chopped 2 tbsp oil 1 tbsp sesame oil 1 egg white 75 grams of tapioca

Ingredients for onion tauco sambal:

5 cloves of garlic 3 cloves of red onion 3 red bird's eye chilies 3 curly red chilies 200 ml of water 5 tablespoons of sambal sauce 2 tablespoons of sweet tauco 1 teaspoon of vinegar 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar 1/2 teaspoon of mushroom broth

How to make it:

1. In a bowl, add the ground chicken thighs, water, salt, granulated sugar, mushroom broth, pepper and oyster sauce, stir until sticky.2. Add the grated garlic, scallions, cabbage, oil, sesame oil, egg whites and tapioca, then stir until evenly mixed.3. Prepare a heat-resistant container, line it with baking paper then pour the batter and flatten it.4. Steam for 20-25 minutes. After it is cooked, let it cool, then cut it into squares.5. Heat the oil, fry the siomay until brown, then drain.6. In a blender, add the garlic, red onion, red chili, curly red chili and some water, puree and then transfer to a pan.7. Add the remaining water, sambal sauce, tauco, vinegar, granulated sugar and mushroom broth, cook over low heat for 5 minutes.8.
