JAKARTA - Adi Kurdi, a veteran actor known for his role as Abah in the soap opera Keluarga Cemara, died on Friday, May 8, at the National Brain Center Hospital, Jakarta. Adi Kurdi is suffering from a neurological disorder.

Born September 22, 1948, Agustinus Adi Kurdi has traveled the world as an actor and soap opera star. Adi Kurdi started his career when he joined WS Rendra's Theater Workshop. His name has risen to prominence through his role as Abah in the soap opera Family Cemara by Arswendo Atmowiloto.
As an alumnus of the School of Art, Theater Program of New York University, Adi Kurd's acting is certainly taken into account in both soap operas and films. Conquering Girl becomes Adi Kurd's debut event on the big screen.
