Main Drama My Roommate Is A Gumiho, Lee Hye-ri Confesses Fear Of Gumiho

JAKARTA - The drama My Roommate is a Gumiho brings together Jang Ki-yong and Lee Hye-ri on one screen. The drama tells the story of Shin Woo-yeo, a handsome and intelligent professor who is actually a 999-year-old nine-tailed fox, while Lee Dam is an ordinary girl who lives in the 21st century.

Even though Woo-yeo and Lee Dam are from different species and have nothing in common, fate brings them together in a nighttime accident that threatens Lee Dam's life and potentially deprives Woo-yeo of his chance to transform into a human.

Since the accident, Lee Dam, who has never had a girlfriend before, has to live with Woo-yeo, a mysterious and supernatural man she just met.

Gumiho is a nine-tailed fox demon in South Korean folklore. Playing Le Dam, Hye-ri is happy because her character is honest. Lee Dam, the role I played, is a modern-day student who was born in 1999. He is a very honest person. If he wants to say something, he will say it. He started living with Shin Woo-yeo after meeting him, but she's never had a boyfriend before. That's why having a roommate is scary for her," Hye-ri said in a special interview with iQiYi for VOI.

Hye-ri admits that she is actually afraid of Gumiho. "Gumiho is scary. Even though Gumiho is scary, Dan says whatever he wants to say to him. That honesty makes him a woman who doesn't hold back and is also very independent. He stands firm with his opinions and that's his biggest charm," continued Lee Hye Ri. .

The drama My Roommate is a Gumiho also offers jokes in between horror stories. The cuteness of the storyline and the acting of the actors can even be seen in the behind-the-scenes video of the shooting process available on YouTube iQiyi.

Even though they were shooting serious scenes, Ki-yong and Hye-ri had to do multiple takes because they couldn't stop joking and laughing with each other.

"I thought that if the set of My Roommate is a Gumiho was boring and everyone around me was tired, I might also feel the same way. But instead, everyone around me was very excited and energetic, so I was excited too," said Le Hye. -ri.
