Chery proves Tiggo 8 CSH is not just a family SUV
Chery presents a warm atmosphere in the series of the 2026 Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) through an activity titled With Chery With Love (WCWL) Talkshow which was held last weekend. This event is a place to share inspiring stories between Chery and the Tiggo 8 CSH user community.
Dozens of Chery community members were present and listened directly to the story of the couple Tania Dewi and Prima Baros. As part of the Chery Family, the two shared their experience using the Tiggo 8 CSH to support daily activities in the important phase of family life, prioritizing comfort and safety.
The story emphasizes that Chery does not merely present vehicles as a means of transportation, but seeks to build long-term relationships based on customer trust and loyalty. This momentum is also a form of appreciation for Chery's consumers who continue to grow together with the brand.
"Through WCWL, we want to show that Chery is not only talking about specifications and technology, but about how our vehicles really become an important part of the Indonesian family's journey. The Tiggo 8 CSH is designed as a safe, comfortable, and reliable car for every phase of the family's journey," said Vice Country Director of Chery Business Unit Budi Darmawan Jantania, recently.
Under the theme of family safety, the talkshow reviews how the Tiggo 8 CSH is designed to provide comprehensive protection for all passengers. The presence of ISOFIX ensures that child seats are safer, while Chery Super Hybrid (CSH) technology allows for smooth power transfer without jolts, making the journey stable in various road conditions.
In terms of structural safety, the Tiggo 8 CSH relies on a body construction with more than 65 percent high-strength steel integrated in the T1X platform, and has bagged a five-star safety rating. Protection is further maximized with the presence of 10 airbags, including far-side and knee airbags, to minimize the risk of injury for all passengers.
Active safety aspects are also the main focus through the presence of up to 14 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) features, such as Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Blind Spot Detection (BSD), to Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA).
Various other support systems, ranging from Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Traction Control System (TCS), Hill-start Assist Control (HAC), to Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), also strengthen vehicle control in various situations.
"As a pregnant mother, comfort and security are the top priorities. The suspension feels stable and minimal impact, so the body doesn't get tired quickly even though the journey is quite far. The passenger seat is also soft with a spacious foot space, so I can sit more relaxed," said Tania.
Especially on the hybrid variant, the high-voltage battery system is protected by collision resistant armor and IP68 water resistance certification to maintain maximum safety. Support for the Augmented Reality Head-Up Display (AR HUD) technology also helps project important information directly into the windshield, so the driver stays focused during the journey.
Chery Indonesia emphasizes that family safety is not just an additional feature, but a long-term commitment. By presenting the Tiggo 8 CSH as a vehicle designed to protect and accompany every phase of life, Chery hopes to continue to be present in the important moments of Indonesian families, both today and in the future.
