JAKARTA - The police are investigating allegations of negligence by the school regarding the wall of SMPN 182 Kalibata, Pancoran, South Jakarta, which collapsed.

"While still under investigation," said Pancoran Police Chief Kompol Mansur to reporters in Jakarta, Sunday.

Mansur said his party was still investigating to determine the causes and chronology related to the collapse of the school wall.

"It is known that the fence was originally already tilted," he said.

The sloping wall has been given a notice from the surrounding environment but there has been no further action until it finally collapsed.

Viral on social media @wargajakarta.id, a screenshot of a surveillance camera (CCTV) recording showing the moment the school wall collapsed on Sunday afternoon.

Fortunately, no residents passed by when the long wall collapsed. There were no casualties or casualties in the incident.
