Welcome to Waikiki 2 star, Actor Jung Eun Woo Dies
JAKARTA - The sad news came from the South Korean entertainment industry. Actor Jung Eun Woo is reported to have died on Wednesday, February 11.
Citing Chosun Daily, Jung Eun Woo died at the New Korea Hospital Funeral Hall in Gimpo, Gyeonggi. The funeral will take place on Friday, February 13 at Byeokje Sunhwa Won.
The cause of the actor's death has not been revealed until now. A day before his death, Jung Eun Woo uploaded a photo of late actor Leslie Chung and Amy Winehouse and himself.
"Missed, missed, regretted," was the statement written by Jung Eun Woo on his account.
Jung Eun Woo is an actor who started his career in 2006 with the drama Rounding Off 3. He started starring in HIT, Bride of the Sun, Oh My Ghost, My Heart Twinkle Twinkle and others.
He also had a leading role in several titles such as Bride of the Sun, One Well-Raised Daughter, The Return of Hwang Beok, and My Only One. Jung Eun Woo also appeared in the drama Welcome to Waikiki 2 which was his last drama.
In terms of films, Jung Eun Woo starred in four films, namely My Tutor Friend 2, Romantic Debtors, Mischange and Memory, which was his last film.
In 2012, he won the New Star at the SBS Drama Awards and the Special Acting Award in 2013.
Born in April 1986, Jung Eun Woo died at the age of 39.
