KSAD General Maruli: Rapim TNI - Polri Routine, Evaluation and Presidential Directives are the Next Agenda

JAKARTA - The Chief of Staff of the Army (KSAD) General TNI Maruli Simanjuntak said the TNI-Polri leadership meeting (Rapim) at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, Monday, February 9, 2026, was a routine annual agenda. "It's routine every year," said Maruli.

Maruli explained that the participants of Rapim came from the ranks of the TNI-Polri. From the TNI, he said "Dandim up". While from the Police, he said "if I'm not mistaken, the Police Chief is up".

According to Maruli, this Rapim discusses evaluations and future steps. In the forum, participants also received briefings from the President. "This is just a routine event, evaluation, what are the next steps. Usually, we can get briefings from the president," he said.

Maruli added that after the President's briefing, there will be a follow-up leadership meeting within the TNI and the Army. "Later there will be another TNI Rapim, later another Army Rapim," he said.

He emphasized that the subsequent rapim-rapim would be a derivative of the President's instructions, including determining what to do next. "Derivatives from the President's instructions, what we do," said Maruli.
