Acha Septriasa Applies Co-Parenting for Career and Children
JAKARTA - Even though they have separated, Acha Septriasa and her ex-husband, Vicky Kharisma, showed an incredible unity in raising their daughter, Bridgia. The two apply a co-parenting system with a very clear time division.
Acha explained that in order for him to continue to work, he and Vicky agreed to take turns taking care of Bridgia. The system they applied was a two-month time division.
"If he complains, he doesn't, he is the important thing now. The division is clear. My father holds two months, I hold two months," said Acha in South Jakarta, not long ago.
This system allows Acha to fly to Jakarta and focus on her work as an actress and producer for two months. During that time, Bridgia will be under the care of her father.
"Her father brought Bridgia home here while I was working," she said.
Although he had to change, Bridgia was said to be able to accept this condition well. There is certainly a sense of longing for parents who are not with him, but he can understand it.
Acha also felt very grateful to her daughter for her extraordinary understanding.
"I'm really grateful to Brie because this way I can also work," he said.
For Acha, this co-parenting system is a team effort. The two of them, as parents, must be able to support each other for the happiness and future of the child.
Although now living in separate houses, they remain committed to providing a stable environment for Bridgia.
"Even though the house is separated, his school is still the same," he explained.
