Thailand Masters 2026 results: Indonesia brings home four titles

JAKARTA - Indonesia managed to lock in its status as the overall champion of the 2026 BWF Super 300 Thailand Masters badminton event by bringing home four titles.

Two titles have been confirmed as Indonesia's before the final match takes place at Nimibutr Stadium on Sunday, February 1, 2026. This is because four representatives from two sectors face each other in the final stage of the tournament.

One of them occurred in the men's doubles sector which brought together Leo Rolly Carnando/Bagas Maulana and Raymond Indra/Nikolaus Joaquin, the youth pair of the 2026 Indonesia Masters last week.

The clash was eventually won by Leo/Bagas in a straight two-game match that ended with a score of 21-10 and 21-17. It was their first title after last winning the Korea Open in 2024.

After that, Leo/Bagas had a taste of the final at All England last year, but had to settle for runner-up.

Another sector that presents a clash between Indonesian representatives is mixed doubles. Two pairs that met in the final, namely Bobby Setiabudi/Melati Daeva Oktavianti and Adnan Maulana/Indah Cahya Sari Jamil.

Adnan/Indah finally managed to grab the title after winning a long duel of three games which ended with a score of 18-21, 21-19, and 20-17.

Then two other titles brought home by Indonesia came from the men's singles Mohammad Zaki Ubaidillah and the women's doubles Amallia Cahaya Pratiwi/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti.

Ubaidillah secured the title after defeating host Panitchaphon Teeraratsakul in a three-game match with a final score of 21-10, 20-22, and 21-19. It was Ubed's first victory over Pinatchaphon from their three clashes in the competitive arena.

The result against Ubed was the second consecutive defeat that Panitchaphon had to accept in the final. He was also unsuccessful in winning the title at the 2026 Indonesia Masters last week after losing to Alwi Farhan.

Meanwhile, Amallia/Fadia finally climbed to the highest podium in Bangkok after winning the two-game match against the Chinese representative, Bao Li Jing/Li Yi Jing, with a score of 15-21, 21-15, and 21-18.
