Airing Today, Check Out The Synopsis Of The Korean Drama Racket Boys With The Theme Of Badminton

JAKARTA - Today, May 31, SBS will broadcast the latest Korean drama titled Racket Boys. This sports-themed drama presents an interesting story and stars various young actors and actresses.

Racket Boys tells the story of a badminton team at a high school that is on the verge of collapse. They start recruiting a new coach and named Yoon Hyeon-Jong (Kim Sang-kyung) who also brings his son, Yoon Hae-kang (Tang Jun-sang).

Badminton is not a type of sport that is used as a theme in various shows, but it actually caught the attention of director Cho Young-kwang.

“Badminton is a sport that can be accessed by many people by only requiring a racket. The public's interest in badminton is also so great," he said.

Starring various characters of various ages, viewers will witness funny comedies and stories that evoke feelings of emotion. For example, Yoon Hae-kang who is a baseball athlete tries to learn badminton.

A soothing story also comes from the Racket Boys team. Not just a drama about badminton, Racket Boys will tell about friendship and someone's dreams to achieve something as they grow up.

The characters of the six badminton players also have inspiration from the real world, one of which is actor Kim Kang-hoon.

"My character as Yong-tae is a big fan of Olympic gold medalist Lee Yong-dae, even he wears the same clothes as him," said Kim Kang-hoon.

Tang Jung-sang, who recently starred in the Netflix series, Move to Heaven, will impress the audience with his acting as an athlete. The Korean drama Racket Boys will air every Monday and Tuesday on SBS and Netflix.
