JAKARTA - Former Commitment Making Officer (PKK) of the Ministry of Social Affairs and a defendant in the alleged bribery case of social assistance (bansos), Adi Wahyono admitted that there was an order from Juliari Peter Batubara while serving as Minister of Social Affairs to 'took' Rp10 thousand per food package.
This statement was conveyed when the prosecutor questioned whether there was a request from Juliari Batubara. Adi confirmed it and said the order was delivered through Juliari's technical team named Kukuh Ary Wibowo.
"Is there an order to collect money?" asked the prosecutor during the trial at the Corruption Court, Monday, May 31.
"Yes. I got the information from Kukuh," said Adi.
"More or less, 'Mas, you asked for Rp. 10 thousand per bag. So actually the order was not directly sent to me first. It was from the Minister to Pak Kukuh then to me, then I conveyed it to Pak Joko (Metheus)," continued Adi.
The prosecutor then asked Adi to explain the context of the 'father' in question. Adi said what was meant by 'father' was Juliari Batubara.
"Father who?" asked the prosecutor.
"Mr. Minister," said Adi.
"Ever received confirmation or direct cross-check?" asked the prosecutor again.
"I was also summoned along with Pak Kukuh, meaning it was there to collect the ministry's operations," he said.
"Around the third week (month) of May, in his office on the 2nd floor," continued Adi.
