Kawasaki ZX-4RR and ZX-4R SE 2026 Officially Launched in Neighboring Countries, Here are the Specifications
JAKARTA - Motor sport lovers in Malaysia can smile at the beginning of 2026, because Kawasaki officially launched the latest ZX-4RR and ZX-4R SE 2026 motorcycles, which are priced at 42,999 ringgit and 40,999 ringgit or Rp181 million and Rp173 million respectively.
Quoting from the Paultan website, January 26, the ZX-4RR is only available in Malaysia in the Lime Green/Ebony color scheme, which reflects Kawasaki's racing bike, while the ZX-4R SE comes in Blizzard White and Spark Black or Metallic Moondusty Gray and Metallic Spark Black colors.
Both motorcycles are equipped with a 399 cc liquid-cooled DOHC engine that produces 77 PS at 14,500 rpm, increasing to 80 PS with Ram-Air, while the torque is 39 Nm at 13,000 rpm.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a six-speed transmission equipped with an assist and slip clutch, as well as a chain final drive, with a two-way quickshifter.
For braking, the Ninja ZX-4RR and ZX-4R SE are equipped with a 290 mm front double disc with a four-piston radial monoblock caliper, as well as a 220 mm rear disc. The safety system is supported by KIBS (Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock Brake System) and K-ACT, which regulates the distribution of braking force between the front and rear wheels.
Significant differences can be seen in the rear suspension sector. The Ninja ZX-4RR uses a fully adjustable Showa BFRC-lite monoshock, while the ZX-4R SE only relies on a monoshock with preload settings. Both use the SFF-BP inverted front suspension. Other driving support features include Kawasaki Traction Control (K-TRC) with three modes, three power mode options, and a TFT-LCD instrument panel that already supports Bluetooth connectivity.
For additional information, the Ninja ZX-4R has a weight of 189 kg with a fuel tank capacity of 15 liters, seat height of 800 mm, and ground clearance of 135 mm, making it still friendly for daily use despite its high performance character.
