Papua Students Meet President Prabowo in London, Remember Message Before Continuing Studies

LONDON - President Prabowo Subianto arrived at London Stansted Airport, England, Sunday, January 18, local time. President Prabowo's presence in London is to discuss strategic cooperation agreements between the two countries, including in the economic and maritime fields.

In the UK, the President is scheduled to meet with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer at the PM's office and meet King Charles III at St. James's Palace.

President Prabowo Subianto's arrival was also greeted by Steve Mara, a student from Papua who is pursuing a doctoral degree (S3) at the University of Bradford, England. This is Steve's second meeting with President Prabowo Subianto.

The first meeting, Prabowo was still serving as Minister of Defense. Meanwhile, Steve had just graduated from the S2 study at the Defense University and would continue his studies of Peace Studies to England.

Steve expressed his happiness to be able to meet President Prabowo again in London.
