Arrested By Densus 88, 10 Suspected Terrorists In Merauke Were In The Ansharut Daulah Network
PAPUA - Papua Police Chief Inspector General Mathius Fakhiri stated that 10 suspected terrorists who were detained in Merauke were indicated part of the Ansharut Daulah network.
The alleged perpetrators were even involved in the suicide bombing case in early January in Makassar.
"The 10 terrorists have been detained since Friday, May 28 and scheduled for Wednesday, June 2 to be flown to Jayapura", said the Regional Police Chief, Fakhiri in Jayapura, as quoted by Antara, Sunday, May 30 evening.
He explained that the suspected terrorists often visited Makassar and some were related to suicide bombings.
A total of 10 terrorists were arrested, namely AK, SB, ZR, UAT, DS, SD, WS, YK, AP, and IK. And out of 10 people there are husband and wife pairs, namely AP and IK (female).

They were arrested because it was indicated that they were planning to carry out suicide bombings in a number of churches around Merauke.
When secured, Densus 88 also confiscated various pieces of evidence such as various sharp weapons and firearms. From the reports that come in, this group has even made allegiance.
