Due to the Flood Waste Tire Field in Koja, a Motorist Attacked a Couple on the Side of the Road

JAKARTA - A man and woman were victims of persecution by an unknown motorcyclist in front of the Islamic Center Mosque, Jalan Kramat Jaya, Koja, North Jakarta, Tuesday, January 13, 2026.

The incident of persecution began when the victim was walking on the edge of Jalan Kramat Jaya. Meanwhile, the road section is still flooded.

Suddenly, a couple with initials A (female) and M (male) were splashed with water when the perpetrator passed by on his motorcycle. The couple's bodies were also soaked with water splashes.

The victim, initials A, then reprimanded the perpetrator because he crossed the puddle and drove fast. Apparently, the reprimand made the perpetrator faint.

Then there was a verbal check between the victim and the perpetrator. The initial commotion was successfully stopped by other motorists who passed by.

Apparently, when the two victims continued their journey on the side of the road, the perpetrator actually followed the two victims.

After the victim was in a secluded place, the perpetrator immediately confronted the victim and committed abuse until victim A suffered a wound in the face and bled.

Meanwhile, M, A's lover was also beaten by the perpetrator until M's face was bruised. After committing the abuse, the perpetrator then fled.

Both victims were taken to Koja Hospital for intensive care.

The head of the Koja Police, Kompol Andri Suharto, said that his party had not received any reports regarding the abuse.

"(The victim) has not been made to the police report, we are still investigating who the victim is and where he is," he said when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, January 13, afternoon.
