A number of officers were seen around the area of the former official's house since the afternoon, arranging the movement of residents around and restricting access to uninvolved guests.

A security officer said the media had not been allowed to enter the house area.

"I can't go in yet, I'm just doing my job," said one of the officers who did not want to be named, Friday, January 9.

Officers also said that every guest who came to the area was always checked for their identity and purpose of arrival.

Those who were prevented were former Minister of Religion Yaqut Cholil Qoumas, Ishfah Abidal Aziz alias Gus Alex as a former special staff in the era of Minister of Religion Yaqut Cholil, and Fuad Hasan Masyhur as the owner of the Maktour Hajj organizing bureau.
