Venezuelan Minister of the Interior Reveals the Health Conditions of Maduro and His Wife Who Were Kidnapped in the US Aggression
JAKARTA - Venezuelan Minister of the Interior (Mendagri) Diosdado Cabello revealed the health condition of President Nicolas Maduro who was kidnapped in a US military operation on January 3, 2026.
Citing Reuters, Thursday, January 8, Cabello said Maduro suffered a leg injury as a result of the incident.
Meanwhile, Maduro's wife, who was also arrested by the US, suffered head injuries.
Cabello also revealed that as many as 100 people were killed in the US military's aggression that led to Maduro's abduction from his residence in Ciracas.
Previously, Cabello praised the interim President of Venezuela, Delcy Rodriguez, as a "brave" figure in responding to the US military attack.
Delcy also set a week of mourning on Tuesday to honor the military members who died in the attack.
