JAKARTA - The song by Dul Jaelani entitled The Church Bird, which has been stored for five years, finally flapped its wings in front of the public and was performed by Giring Ganesha.

Dul, who composed the song, explained what the lyrics he wrote in the Sparrow meant.

“This song tells about a person who loves someone deeply. So that the depth of his love wants to be known by the people he loves. And he can't live without the people he loves because he needs them. This song is universal, it can be intended for lovers, parents, friends, friends, girlfriends and others, "explained Dul.

Dul told about the beginning of collaboration with Giring in this song, “At the Padi Reborn concert I happened to be a guest star and there was also Kak Giring. Then I heard the news that Kak Giring was looking for a song. Then I samperin, and I offer some songs. When he heard the song Sparrow, Kak Giring immediately liked it. Then the next day we make an appointment at my house. I love this song and Alhamdulillah Sis Giring wants it. " he recalled.

Dul continued, he created the sparrow in 2016. Initially he intended to perform it himself, but then Dul changed his mind and felt that the song would be better if performed by someone else.

He thought of giving it to the band Dewa 19 who had agreed and were ready to record it.

"But I thought when I could escape from the shadow of my father (Ahmad Dhani) if I gave him to Dewa 19. So I decided to give this song to Kak Giring." explained Dul.

The song has the meaning of still giving love and still loving sincerely and unconditionally, because giving love is better than looking for love.
