Lexus warms up the premium EV market with the RZ 600e F SPORT Performance, check out the specifications

JAKARTA - Lexus is heating up the competition for premium electric SUVs. The Japanese manufacturer ensures the presence of the RZ 600e F SPORT Performance, a special edition model that will be included in the RZ battery electric vehicle (BEV) lineup and will be marketed through Lexus dealers on March 2, 2026.

RZ itself is an important milestone in Lexus' transformation into a full electric era. After the debut of the RZ 450e AWD in March 2023 and the RZ 300e FWD which emphasizes efficiency and mileage, Lexus continues to push performance through the F SPORT line.

In January 2024, the RZ 450e F SPORT Performance variant is limited to 100 units and was developed together with air racing pilot Yoshihide Muroya and racer Masahiro Sasaki. As a result, the car is a laboratory for aerodynamic performance and driving feel.

Based on the RZ 550e F SPORT with an enhanced BEV system, the RZ 600e F SPORT Performance brings comprehensive improvements. An exclusive aerodynamic package produces a stronger downforce, the motor output is increased, and the larger brakes ensure optimal stability and control when driven.

Technically, the vehicle height is cut by 20 mm from the RZ 550e F SPORT to reduce air resistance. The battery output limit is re-evaluated to produce a maximum system power of 313 kW.

The result is that the acceleration feels instant and smooth, while the 20-inch disc brakes reinforce the braking performance, giving a sense of precision and high connectivity between the car and the driver. The next generation driving sensation is presented through steer by wire with a unique steering wheel, combined with Interactive Manual Drive.

From city traffic to winding roads, this combination is designed to make the driving experience more immersive and enjoyable. For appearance, Lexus offers two color schemes, Black/HAKUGIN II clear matte, and Black/Neutrino Gray as on the RZ 550e F SPORT.

The contrasting blue details and aerodynamic body proportions emphasize its sporty character. The cabin is also specially designed, the front seats with an integrated foam molding process provide strong support during aggressive driving without sacrificing daily comfort.

Looking at the official Lexus website, Saturday, December 27, this electric SUV recorded a total power of 425.5 PS and claimed to take 0-100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds. This car is also equipped with a 76.96 kWh battery with a range of up to 525 km on a full charge.

Interestingly, Lexus has also prepared a Special Edition RZ 600e F SPORT Performance which is equipped with exclusive components such as black doff ENKEI rims, blue brake calipers, and carbon fiber accents. Until now, Lexus Global has not revealed a list of countries that will officially market the RZ 600e F SPORT Performance.
