Secure the Semi-final Ticket, Indonesia U19 National Team Defeat Malaysia 1-0  

JAKARTA - The Indonesian U19 futsal national team narrowly won 1-0 over Malaysia in the Group B match of the ASEAN U19 Boys' Futsal Championship 2025 or the ASEAN U19 Futsal Championship 2025, in Nonthanburi Hal, Bangkok, Thailand, Thursday.

This victory, as reported by Antara, ensured Indonesia finished in first place in Group B with six points, and secured a ticket to the semifinals.

The team coached by Naim Hamid Salim will then meet the second-ranked Group A, namely Thailand or Vietnam, in the semifinals.

The Indonesian national team took the lead early when the match was only a minute old. It started with Andika Ferdyansyah who managed to grab the ball from the Malaysian player, he then fired a hard shot that went into the opponent's goal. 1-0 for Indonesia.

After conceding a goal, Malaysia tried hard to equalize the score. However, the Malaysian team still struggled to break through the Indonesian goal which was guarded by Guntur Rochmatdhani Pratikno.

After that, the Indonesian national team also tried to double the lead. Several opportunities were obtained from the movements of Andi Umayyah and Dafa, but their efforts did not bear fruit until the first half ended.

In the second half, Indonesia continued to try to get the second goal. The Indonesian national team dominated the course of the game and trapped the opponent's defense.
