JAKARTA - The Search for Persons (DPO) Sub-Directorate IV of the Narcotics Crime Directorate of the National Police, Tigran Denre Sonda, surrendered to the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, regarding the distribution of drugs during the largest electronic music festival, Djakarta Warehouse Project (DWP), which was held in Bali some time ago.
It is known that Tigran Denre Sonda is the husband of celebrity Donna Fabiola, who first dealt with law enforcement officials after being caught in an alleged involvement in a narcotics distribution network.
Director of Narcotics Crime, Bareskrim Polri, Brigjen Pol. Eko Hadi Santoso, said the surrender was carried out at around 14.00 WIB at the Bareskrim Polri Building, South Jakarta.
"On December 24, 2025 at 14.00 WIB, the DPO of Sub-Directorate IV concerned came to surrender himself to the Office of Sub-Directorate IV of the Narcotics Division of the National Police in the company of AKBP Wisnu, then accepted by AKBP Agung Prabowo," he said in a written statement, Thursday, December 24, 2025.
Eko said that based on the results of the initial examination, Tigran Denre Sonda admitted that he had obtained cocaine-type narcotics from a Malaysian citizen named Mujahid. He also admitted that Mujahid had introduced him to someone with the initials J to get cocaine.
"Since the introduction, Tigran and J have intensively sold and bought cocaine for about a year," he said.
Then, around 2024, Tigran was no longer able to contact J so he re-established communication with Mujahid to buy cocaine. The transaction was carried out with a cash payment system in Malaysia.
"The transaction to buy cocaine was carried out by paying cash in Malaysia. The suspect admitted to buying cocaine for personal use with a maximum amount of 10 grams per transaction, at a price of around 600 to 800 Malaysian ringgit per gram," he said.
Eko revealed that the suspect brought cocaine from Malaysia to Indonesia by being slipped into a suitcase, between piles of clothes, then put into the plane's baggage to deceive the customs security system.
"By being hidden (in a pile of clothes) with small packages that are spread in a suitcase, then the suitcase is put into the plane's baggage, to deceive the customs security system," he said.
Furthermore, Tigran Denre Sonda admitted that he knew Mujahid since the end of 2023 when the two worked as brokers. He also admitted that he had been using cocaine since 2022.
"In addition to cocaine, Mujahid's brother (Malaysian WNA) is suspected of being able to provide other types of narcotics, such as ecstasy, MDMA, and ketamine," he said.
Regarding the suspect, investigators from Subdit IV Dittipidnarkoba Bareskrim Polri have carried out security, examination, and further investigation process.
Previously, the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police revealed six drug syndicates in Bali with a total of 17 suspects and seven people on the Person Search List (DPO).
One of the syndicates is controlled by Tigran Denre Sonda together with his wife, Donna Fabiola. Denre as a cocaine supplier, while Donna as a distributor.
"Based on the results of the investigation, it was found that Sister Donna was a dealer who distributed cocaine and MDMA type narcotics in the area," he said.
