Central Java Governor Meets the Christmas Mass Congregation at the Semarang Cathedral

SEMARANG - Central Java (Jateng) Governor Ahmad Luthfi greeted the congregation who were carrying out Christmas mass at the Cathedral Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary, Randusari, Semarang.

Luthfi came with the ranks of the Central Java Forkopimda, such as the Central Java Police Chief, Inspector General Ribut Hari Wibowo, the Commander of the IV/Diponegoro Military Region, Major General TNI Achiruddin Darojat, the Chairman of the Central Java DPRD, Sumanto, the Central Java Kajati, Hendro Dewanto.

"Today I am with the forkopimda present at this Cathedral Church in order to wish a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. With this Christmas spirit we have come to ensure that Christmas commemorations in churches are smooth, orderly, and safe," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, December 24.

He wants to ensure that the worship runs smoothly and safely, and wishes a Merry Christmas for the people who celebrate.

On that occasion, the governor conveyed that Central Java is one of the provinces with high religious tolerance.

According to Luthfi, the spirit of togetherness that was built was a common spirit to build Central Java.

Therefore, Luthfi asked for prayers from the congregation of the mass so that Central Java and Indonesia would be spared from all forms of disasters.

"Central Java is our common home. To all congregations, please pray that Central Java Province and Indonesia will always be prosperous and protected from disasters, and then prosper the people," he said.
