Meanwhile, the Ciracas District Head Panangaran Ritonga appreciated and thanked all parties who had supported the activities of the drug enforcement and destruction.
English:
"This G-listed drug should only be sold in pharmacies with a doctor's prescription, but it is circulating freely in the community, so today we destroyed it," said Panangaran.
On the same occasion, the investigator of the East Jakarta National Narcotics Agency (BNN) Muhammad Zulmanah also appreciated the steps to destroy illegal drugs because the circulation of illegal hard drugs can be a gateway to drug abuse.
"Drugs like Tramadol and the like are prone to be consumed by teenagers," said Zulmanah.
Furthermore, he appealed to shop owners, especially drug and cosmetics stores, not to sell medicines without a distribution permit because it violates the rules.
"Legally, the authority to take action lies with the police and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia because the circulation of illegal hard drugs is regulated by the Health Law," said Zulmanah.
