Fired 51 Employees, KPK Considered Colluding With Other Institutions
JAKARTA - Former Commissioner of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Bambang Widjojanto suspects Firli Bahuri et al of collusion or concentration with other institutions, including the State Personnel Agency (BKN). The purpose, allegedly to legalize the results of the National Insight Test Assessment (TWK).
This was conveyed in response to the dismissal of 51 KPK employees effectively implemented on November 1. This is the result of a coordination meeting conducted by kpk, BKN, and other ministries/institutions to discuss the fate of 75 employees who did not qualify for TWK on Tuesday, May 25.
"The chairman of the KPK and the leaders of other high-ranking state institutions that support should be suspected of colluding to commit unlawful acts by legalizing the controversial and unaccountable results of TWK," bw said, greeting Bambang, in his statement to reporters quoted Thursday, May 27.
Thus, they should be included in the obstruction of justice qualification because it has interfered with and hindered efforts to eradicate corruption crimes committed by the anti-corruption commission. In addition, Bambang also considers the decision of dismissal is a strong indication not only against but also menista President.
This assumption was conveyed because some time ago President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) requested that the transfer of staffing status does not harm KPK employees. "The act in question factually can also be assessed as a criminal act because it is against the orders of superiors of law enforcement, in this case, the president in accordance with Article 160 of the Criminal Code," said Bambang.
Thus, BW asked the President as the highest official of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) to take immediate action. Because, he considers Jokowi has the authority to intervene in the issue of personnel status transfer based on Article 3 paragraph (7) PP 17 Year 2020 on ASN Management.
"The president proposed legitimizing or canceling the decision of the chairman of the KPK backed up by his aides," he said.
According to Bambang, this step becomes important. Because, if President Jokowi does not firmly solve this problem then he will be accused as the party that helped destroy the KPK and get rid of its best employees.
Moreover, the National Insight Test (TWK) which became a gauge of the dismissal of 51 employees was widely questioned credibility by various parties and concluded to contain elements of racism, intolerance, to be considered in favor of the interests of corrupt and authoritarian behavior.
"KPK employees have shown their performance. How is it possible, the absurd TWK was used to purify kpk employees who have proven to perform very well, giving their lives and eyes to eradicate corruption," he said.
Previously reported, KPK has held a coordination meeting to discuss the fate of 75 employees who failed the National Insight Test Assessment (TWK) and were disabled. In addition to the KPK and the State Personnel Agency (BKN), the meeting was also attended by Minister of Law and Human Rights Yasonna Laoly and MenPANRB Tjahjo Kumolo.
As a result, 51 KPK employees out of a total of 75 employees who did not qualify TWK were confirmed fired from their jobs. While 24 employees are still possible coaching.
The National Insight Test (TWK) was attended by 1,351 KPK employees. Of these, 1,274 were declared eligible.
Meanwhile, 75 employees including Novel Baswedan, Chairman of kpk employee container who is also an investigator Yudi Purnomo, Director of Socialization and Anti-Corruption Campaign KPK Giri Suprapdiono, Kasatgas KPK Harun Al-Rasyid, and Director pjkaki Sujarnarko declared ineligible (TMS). Next, two other employees were not present in the interview.
