Strictly, Yogyakarta Government Will Give Sanctions To Traders Who Sell With Unreasonable Prices In Malioboro

JAKARTA - The Government of Yogyakarta ensures that it will impose strict sanctions on street vendors in Malioboro who violate the rules that are closed forever.

The sanctions were delivered by Deputy Mayor of Yogyakarta Heroe Poerwadi following tourist complaints about the price of food sold by street vendors in the Malioboro area went viral on social media,

"The sanction has become the policy and agreement of the whole community. If anyone withdraws the price is not in accordance with the provisions or unnatural then the sanctions are clear and firm," said Heroe Poerwadi in Yogyakarta, Wednesday.

The strict sanction in question is that traders who commit violations should not sell forever in Malioboro.

According to him, the imposition of strict sanctions is important so that all communities and communities in the Malioboro area are orderly in complying with the rules and orderly communities in supervising their members because if they do, they are people who have the potential to damage the name of Malioboro and Yogyakarta."
