Two Debt Collectors Who Perpetrated Assault and Car Vandalism in Depok Are Arrested by the Police

Two debt collectors who abused ATF (35), on Jalan Ir H Juanda, Depok, West Java, were arrested by the Depok Metro Police. The incident of persecution was known to have occurred on Saturday, December 13, 2025.

"Two perpetrators with initials BEK and DP have been successfully secured," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Depok Metro Police, Kompol Made Oka, to reporters, quoted from ANTARA, Monday, December 15.

Oka explained that the victim was on his way to Jalan Margonda Raya driving his four-wheeled vehicle.

"When the victim made a U-turn before Mal Pesona Square, the victim was stopped by an unknown person and shouted at the victim and asked the victim to get out of the car," he said.

After being dismissed, the perpetrators took away the victim's driver's license and car keys and then beat the victim. After carrying out the action, the perpetrators left the location.

Then the victim was helped by the surrounding residents to secure his vehicle even though it was damaged. The perpetrator also hit the victim and kicked the car body until it was dented on several sides and cracked on the right mirror.

The incident went viral on the Instagram social media account through the @depok24jam account. In the video, it can be seen that the debt collectors are blocking the victim.

"The victim's STNK was confiscated and the car keys were damaged, at the time of the incident the driver was carrying a small child and a wife who was 8 months pregnant," wrote the account.
