Steady! Village Fund In Asmat To Build Village Facilities And People's Homes
JAKARTA - Regent Asmat Elisa Kampung admitted that most of the village funds in his area were used to build village facilities and people's homes.
From the reports received, it was revealed that village funds handed over to villages were mostly used to build village infrastructure, such as village roads, building clean water shelters, boat moorings and buying diesel for villages that do not have electricity.
The utilization of village funds was based on a joint decision accompanied by a companion officer, said the Regent of Kambu.
Admittedly, through village or village funds every year take turns improving people's homes.
"Every year people's homes are repaired using village funds on average two houses," Kambu said reported by Antara, Wednesday, May 26.
He admitted, initially had difficulty because the public considered the funds for them without any accountability so they wanted to be given cash.

Added, from 224 villages in Asmat recorded 221 villages that received state budget funds of Rp 221 billion.
Three villages that did not receive village funds because it is a village expansion and until now have not exited the registration number of the Ministry of Trade.
The amount of village funds received varies depending on the population and ranges from Rp 900 million to Rp 3 billion.
The number of escorts who assisted the use of village funds as many as 224 people, 162 of them financed by the Asmat Local Government and the remaining 62 people from the Papua Provincial Government, explained Regent Asmat Elisa Kambu who was contacted from Jayapura.
