For Revenge Enters Acceptance Phase In Break Heart Celebration Album Round 2

JAKARTA - For Revenge is entering a new chapter in their musical career journey through the release of their fifth album titled Hari Patah Hati 2 Celebration. This is a continuation of the previous album that has been airing since 2022.

This album also completes the entire story about the loss and the upward process that has been carried by this alternative rock unit from Bandung since the last few years.

Worked since 2023 and has started to be echoed since the release of the single 'Sadrah' in 2024, this album contains a total of 14 songs. According to Boniex Nur, vocalist for Revenge, this album describes the acceptance phase.

If the previous album contains about the loss, on this album, we invite listeners to enter the acceptance phase. There is a ray of bright light that we bring between the tragic stories we experience. It also strengthens the invitation to celebrate a broken heart which has been the theme in our singles in recent years," said the vocalist in a written broadcast, December 12.

For Revenge does not walk alone on this album because it invites fellow musicians to collaborate. Three of them have been released first, namely with Wira Nagara at Kala Luka Bercelat, Elsa Japasal in Waiting for His Turn, and Stand Here Alone in For Kau Yang Di Sana (UKYDS).

Meanwhile, two other collaborations can be heard for the first time on this album by cooperating with Vicky Mono (DeadSquad) and the Magic Competition. The personal closeness and character match are the main reasons for the presence of the two collaborators.

For Vicky Mono (DeadSquad), she is our senior sister on the Bandung music scene. We have known her personally since she joined Burgerkill metal unit. Vicky has also been a model for our video clip in the single Jeda. According to the character of the song Born Karma which is full of anger, it feels like Vicky is the most appropriate person to give life to the song," Boniex continued.

Another interesting atmosphere is served through collaboration with the Magic Contest. The idea emerged for the sake of a more lively color search.

When we first completed the material for the song Happy Celebrating', it felt like there was a 'meriah' feel that was missing. Magic competition is our first choice to strengthen that feel. Starting from our collaboration at the Sang Derana Concert, finally proceeds to the cultivation of this single and the results are as we imagined."

This album also marks a new phase of career journey for Revenge as the first full album released with the label Sony Music Indonesia. According to Boniex, the Celebration of Patah Hati Round 2 makes them learn a lot of new things, meet great people who help a lot, and become another maturation process in their musical career.
