TNI Evacuates Flood Victims With Stroke In Aceh Tamiang By Helicopter
ACEH - The Indonesian Navy evacuated flood victims with a stroke in Aceh Tamiang by helicopter to be taken to the KRI RI dr Soeharso-990 hospital ship in order to get more medical treatment.
Head of the Indonesian Navy Information Service, First Admiral TNI Tunggul said the resident with the stroke was Kartini (63) who lives in Marlempang village, Bedahara District, Aceh Tamiang Regency.
"The village area where he lives is currently located in a location that is difficult to reach by land vehicles due to the cut route," said Tunggul as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, December 11.
Due to the difficulty of getting access to health facilities, the Indonesian Navy deployed HS-1302 Helicopters to transport Kartini to KRI Dr Soeharso-990.
Until now, Kartini is still undergoing medical treatment by KRI health personnel Dr. Soeharso-990.
"Conditions are getting better," explained Tunggul.

Tunggul emphasized that this action is proof of the strong support of the Indonesian Navy in the post-disaster recovery process in Sumatra.
Tunggul ensured that all personnel and defense equipment deployed would not relax their enthusiasm in providing services to flood victims in Sumatra.
