Ganjar Pranowo Confirms There Has Been An Increase In COVID-19 Cases In The Eid Al-Fitr Holiday

JAKARTA - The increase in the number of people migrating to Central Java during the Eid al-Fitr holiday has increased the number of COVID-19 patients. This increase data is seen since May 17. As stated by Ganjar Pranowo, governor of Central Java.

"If you look at the data on the addition of COVID-19 cases, I see data coming out from May 1 to May 23. There is a trend of increasing new cases on a daily basis starting May 17. This is due to eid holidays high data (increased) from 17, 18 and peaked on May 19," he told VOI via a long-distance interview on Monday, May 24.
