One Decade Break, Finger Eleven Returns With Last Night On Earth Surprise Album

JAKARTA - The multi-platinum rock unit from Canada, Finger Eleven, greets the world with a message that their career is not over yet. They officially released their latest single, The Mountain, along with the launch of their first studio album in a decade, Last Night On Earth.

Released via Better Noise Music, this seventh album also marks their first collaboration with the label.

Behind the process of working on this album, Finger Eleven admitted that it was inspired by Phil Collins and Genesis, especially in the touch of a strong melody. Guitarist Rick Jackett called the creation of this album a moment back to the big rock sound' they had built at the start of their career.

While The Mountain itself is lined up as the fourth single of this album, it is described as an epic four-minute song that has a lyric feel about creative travel and a search for new ideas. Scott Anderson as the vocalist explains that this song uses a fantasy setting to describe their own music.

Starting from Burlington, Ontario, Finger Eleven is known for a series of successful albums from hit songs such as One Thing to Paralyzer.

They have won the Juno Award for Rock Album of The Year and continue to maintain their position as one of Canada's most influential Rock bands. The album marked the rise of Finger Eleven, which began a national tour in Canada from November 25 with plans to tour the United States following in 2026.
