Harley-Davidson Rider Wearing Police Jacket Apologizes

DENPASAR - A young man with the initials MA (23) who wore a traffic police jacket (Polantas) Polri while riding a Harley-Davidson when touring apologized.

The Head of Public Relations of the Bali Police, Kombes Ariasandy, said the incident occurred on Sunday (7/12). Police personnel intercepted the driver on Jalan Amlapura-Singaraja, Karangasem Regency, Bali.

"Securing the driver in question to the Kubu Police (Karangasem) and checking the identity of the person concerned and the completeness of the vehicle," said Kombes Ariasandy, Tuesday, December 9.

The video of a group of motorbike riders including a young man wearing a Polri jacket has gone viral on social media. The police gave a warning to the Supreme Court as well as coaching.

The police asked the Supreme Court to make a video clarification to apologize to the public and the National Police. Furthermore, the Supreme Court made a video clarifying by apologizing for using the attributes of the police.

He admitted to buying a traffic jacket online.

"The person concerned is very sorry for his actions and promised not to repeat his actions," he said.
