'Our Voice Is Lirih, But Important For NU Civilization,' Calls Kiai' Young Nyai Urges Open Reconciliation
JAKARTA The Kiai Nyai Muda Nahdlatul Ulama Forum (FKNM NU) urges the resolution of internal organizational problems through open deliberations so that Nahdlatul Ulama continues to run according to the rules and maintains solemnity to the community.
FKNM NU assesses that the dynamics that have occurred within the Nahdlatul Ulama Executive Board (PBNU) recently need to be cleared with measurable steps so as not to interfere with the work of the congregation in the regions. The tradition of deliberation is considered to be a way for NU to reduce conflicts while ensuring the settlement according to the mandate of the congress.
"NU needs a quiet space. Internal conflicts must be resolved through deliberation. Our voices may be thin, but they become part of the ink of NU civilization," said NU FKNM Coordinator and Caretaker of Al-Aziz Lasem Islamic Boarding School, Nyai Fatimah Asri Mutmainah, in Jakarta, Antara, Tuesday, December 9.
He emphasized that so far the kiai and nyai were young and did not have room to express their aspirations, so this forum became an official forum to speak up.
The forum consists of a number of pesantren caregivers, including KH Ahmed Shoim El Amin (PP Ihya Ulumaddin, Cilacap), Agus H. Ahmad Kafabihi Mahrus (PP Lirboyo, Kediri), KH Faiz Makki (PP Nurul Jadid, Paiton), as well as young nyai such as Dr. Hj. Iffatul Umniati Ismail (Sampang) and Dr. Hj. Maya Fitria (PP Krapyak, Yogyakarta).
Member of the NU FKNM from Jakarta, Dr. KH. Rifqi Muhammad Fatkhi, said that the upcoming congress should be a momentum to rearrange the management of the congregation. Muntamar must be a space for improvement and improvement of governance. Management at all levels must also maintain NU's magnification," said Rifqi.
FKNM NU hopes that all parties will refrain from actions that can cloud the atmosphere. The Forum also invites NU residents to pray for the leaders of the congregation to be given wisdom in making the best decisions.
