Metro Police Learn The Report File Ex-Minister Roy Suryo To Lucky Alamsyah

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya said it is investigating the reporting file of Former Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Roy Suryo against Lucky Alamsyah for alleged defamation.

This was also the tail of the car grazing.

"The report was entered yesterday from the hospital's brother. Now it is still being studied by the team," Metro Jaya Police Public Relations Chief Kombes Yusri Yunus told reporters on Tuesday, May 25.

With the reporting file still being examined, Yusri said, investigators have not determined the next steps in handling the case. But, later sooner or later the reporting party and reported will be asked for information.

"After that we prepare an invitation for clarification," he said.

For information, Roy Suryo reported Lucky Alamsyah for alleged defamation. The report is registered with LP/2669/V/YAN.2.5/2021/SPKT PMJ.

The feud between the two stems from claims their car was grazed. Both claimed they were victims of abuse.

After the incident, Lucky through his social media revealed the incident. Roy who felt offended then reported the case to the Police Department of Metro Jaya with defamation allegations.

So, in this issue Lucky as reported is suspected by Article 27 Paragraph (3) juncto Article 45 Paragraph (3) Law No. 19 of 2026 concerning Amendments to Law No. 11 of 2008 concerning ITE.
