Head Of Bawaslu Meets Menpora, Encourages Cooperation To Involve Youth Participation In Election Monitoring
JAKARTA - Minister of Youth and Sports Zainudin Amali received the visit of Chairman Bawaslu Abhan.

The arrival of chairman Bawaslu and his entourage to meet and invite the Ministry of Finance to synergize in the national priority program to establish a Participatory Election Supervision Education Center by involving youth organizations under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (OKP).
"This needs to be synergized with the Ministry of Youth, Bawaslu requested and invited the participation of youth organizations under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports to participate in the School cadres pertisipatif supervisors (SKPP) to increase the participation of the community in conducting participatory supervision in elections and elections," abhan said, Tuesday, May 25.
According to Abhan, youth organizations under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are very much. So it is very necessary to be involved as a form of community participation in the preparation of elections.
"We hope to be formalized in the form of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia and the Election Supervisory Board of the Republic of Indonesia," he hoped.
To follow up on this, a small committee is needed to formulate a cooperation text between the Ministry of Transport and Bawaslu.
Meanwhile, Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia (Menpora RI) Zainudin Amali expressed his appreciation and welcomed the invitation of Bawaslu RI. Because, the involvement of youth in election supervision will strengthen the democratic process.
"I welcome and openly, what Bawaslu conveyed certainly in strengthening the democratic process in the community. It means that more and more of our youth are engaged in special supervision. The more that educates the community, the more massive (Election) participation," said Minister Amali.
Minister amali said his party is ready to synergize with Bawaslu. Moreover, previously the Ministry of Transport has signed a cooperation with the National Population and Family Agency (BKKBN) in lowering stunting figures and scoring outstanding athletes.
"We'll formalize and we're ready. What kind of technically bawaslu friends are prepared. We'll just stay with you. I think it's good, we appreciate and thank you," said Minister Amali.
