TikTok Introduces Shared Collections And Shared Feed Features, Encourages Interuser Interplay
JAKARTA TikTok introduces two new features to strengthen relations between users. Both features are Collective Collectives (Shared Collections) and Feed Together (Shared Feed).
Collecting Together is designed to store and manage content together. Users can store content with the same topics, such as recipes, home design inspirations, favorite idols, and other interesting content.
This will make it easier for users who want to share collections while working on certain projects. To start Collecting Together, both users must be friends or follow each other. After that, one user can send an invitation.
This invitation can be submitted when saving videos or when accessing other TikTok user collections. Invite recipients can later receive, change collection names, and start sharing content.
This collection can be regulated for privacy so that it can only be seen by friends and family. However, there is also an option to display the collection to the public. This means that people who are not friends can also see uploads in the collection.
The Joint Collection has been launched globally for all accounts whose users are over the age of 16. For now, the feature is not yet available in Indonesia. We need to wait for some time to get the feature expanded.

Every day, the Shared Feed will feature 15 selected videos in a private chat room. The videos that appear are based on content that both users like, and are often viewed and commented on.
To start the Shared Feed, one user can send an invitation via DM. Once the invitation is received, the feed will be created and start producing 15 videos daily to explore. Users can interact with the video.
After finishing watching all the videos, users can see which metrics display which videos they like the most through a Joint Suka history. This feature is scheduled to be released globally in the coming months.
