Heartache Because Farm Animals Are Often Poisoned, 63-Year-Old Grandfather In South Kalimantanl Kills And Mutilates Victims

JAKARTA - The Police of Tanah Bumbu Resort, South Kalimantan managed to arrest an alleged perpetrator who was strongly suspected of murder and mutilation in Satui Subdistrict.

Chief of Tanah Bumbu Police, AKBP Himawan Sutanto Siragih, said that the perpetrators had the initials Y (63) and were residents of Tanah Bumbu.

It managed to secure Y after conducting a series of investigations after the case was reported by the victim's family.

"The motive of the murder and mutilation is the perpetrator's long-standing grudge with the victim", said the Police Chief accompanied by Satui Police Chief, AKP Parman reported from Antara, Tuesday, May 25.

The perpetrator confessed to the act because the alleged victim often poisoned his farm animals. As a result of this action, the perpetrator felt hurt so that he could commit an act of murder.

Head of Public Relations AKP Mede explained, now the perpetrator has been determined to be a suspect and the case has been handed over to the prosecutor.

"We will strictly eradicate crime in Tanah Bumbu, and the suspect is threatened with a life sentence or 20 years imprisonment", he concluded.
