These Five Toll Roads Are Ready To Be Opened Functionally During The Nataru Holiday

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works (PU) said that there are five toll roads that will be opened functionally during the 2025 Christmas and 2026 New Year holidays (Nataru 2025/2026).

The toll roads are spread across Aceh, Kalimantan to Java.

This was conveyed by Deputy Minister of Public Works Diana Kusumastuti in a Working Meeting (Raker) with Commission V of the DPR RI regarding Infrastructure and Transportation Readiness in the framework of Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday, December 8.

"To anticipate the surge in services in the period (Nataru 2025/2026), there are five toll roads that will be functionalized with a length of 142.587 kilometers (km)," said Diana.

Based on the material of his presentation, the five functional toll roads include the SigliBanda Aceh Toll Road Section 1 Padang TijiSeulimeun along 24.67 km, the Kuala TanjungTebing TinggiParapat Toll Road for part Section 4 (SinaksakSimpang Pinei) along 12.86 km and the Palembang 'Betung Section 2 Rengas' Rimai Islands along 30.75 km.

Then, there is the Probolinggo 'Banyuwangi Toll Road Sections 1 and 2 (Gending'Paiton) along 24.08 km and the State Capital Toll Road (IKN) Section 3A, 3A2, 3B, 3B2, 5A, 5B, 6A and the Balang Pulang Bridge along 50,227 km.

Furthermore, Diana said, in order to support the flow of mobility during Nataru 2025/2025, there are at least three toll roads that will operate in the fourth quarter of 2025.

Among other things, the 4.70 km Kamal' Teluknaga 'Rajeg Section 1 (Jc Sedyatmo'IC Kosambi) Toll Road, Palembang Junction Toll Road for Ramp 1.5, 6, 7B and 8 along 7.57 km.

"Then, the addition of the Tangerang 'Merak section, this is on track A and B, this is at kilometer 77 + 800 and KM 86 + 538 along 8.738 kilometers," he added.

Previously, the Minister of Transportation (Menhub) Dudy Purwagandhi revealed, as many as 119.5 million people were predicted to travel, both outside and within the province, during the 2025/2026 Nataru holiday.

Dudy bilang, prediksi tersebut berdasarkan survei yang dilakukan oleh Badan Kebijakan Transportasi Kemenhub bekerja sama dengan BPS, Kementerian Komunikasi dan Digital serta akademisi.

"Menurut survei, 42,01 persen penduduk Indonesia atau sekitar 119,5 juta orang berpotensi melakukan perjalanan, pada masa libur Nataru 2025/2026,' ujar Dudy dalam acara media briefing di Jakarta, Jumat, 5 Desember.

Berdasarkan survei tersebut, sambung Dudy, terdapat tren peningkatan potensi pergerakan masyarakat secara nasional pada masa Angkutan Nataru sebesar 2,71 persen, dari 39,30 persen pada tahun lalu menjadi 42,01 persen.

Dia menjelaskan, meningkatnya minat masyarakat untuk melakukan perjalanan pada masa Nataru 2025/2026 disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, salah satunya waktu libur panjang. Sebab, libur sekolah bersamaan dengan libur Nataru.

Dudy said the prediction was based on a survey conducted by the Transportation Policy Agency of the Ministry of Transportation in collaboration with BPS, the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs and academics.

"According to the survey, 42.01 percent of Indonesia's population or around 119.5 million people have the potential to travel, during the Christmas and New Year 2025/2026 holiday," Dudy said at a media briefing in Jakarta, Friday, December 5.

Based on the survey, continued Dudy, there was a trend of increasing the potential for national community movement during the Nataru Transport period by 2.71 percent, from 39.30 percent last year to 42.01 percent.

He explained that the increasing public interest in traveling during the 2025/2026 Nataru period was caused by several factors, one of which was the long holiday time. Because, school holidays coincide with the Nataru holiday.
