Lexus Relives LFA Now Fully Powered

JAKARTA Lexus today, December 5, officially introduced the Lexus LFA Concept, a model of the concept of a full electric-powered sports car (BEV). This concept is not just an ordinary electric car; it is a manifestation of the strong belief of Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) Chair, Akio Toyoda (Porizo Master Driver), that veteran car manufacturing techniques and skills must be preserved and passed on to the next generation.

In Toyota Global's official mention of this concept being on the same track as the legendary Toyota 2000GT and Lexus LFA V10, the new LFA Concept embodies the spirit of "Shikinen Sengu Toyota" a philosophy of preservation that not only forwards technical skills to young engineers, but also develops them.

The LFA Concept Lexus was developed simultaneously with high-performance TOYOTA Gazoo Racing cars, namely GT and GT3 GR. This ensures that these electric supercars are built on the foundation of superior performance.

The three key elements that are the main focus in the development of LFA BEV include low center of gravity, light weight with high stiffness (low weight with high rigidity), and peak aerodynamic performance searches.

Lexus also takes advantage of BEV's unique potential, starting with a lightweight and high stiff aluminum body frame, as well as an ideal driving position that increases unity between the car and the driver.

The Concept Of Deep Driving Sensation

Lexus' concept of 'Discover Immersion' confirms that even though it turns to electric power, a thrilling driving sensation remains at the heart of the experience. Through the LFA Concept, Lexus promises a truly deep driving experience, attracting drivers completely into a more intuitive and emotional world of driving.

To present this experience, the cabin is designed that focuses on the driver. The seat position is ideally made by imitating racing car suits such as GR GT and GR GT3, so that a close union is created between the car and the driver. The interior design is made very minimalist with a functional component that is refined and centered in the driver's area so that all attention is directed at control. A special steering car becomes the main element, carrying a steering-by-wire technology that allows operation without the need to change the grip of the hand, plus a designed button layout in order to be operated without having to see, ensuring that every control feels natural and intuitive.

Visually, LFA Concept inherits the beauty of a sensual carving of the LFA V10, yet pursues a finer and more lasting-valued force balance. Its shape is designed to maximize the performance of the sports car made possible by the aluminum framework of the GT. Its low siluet and flowing from the nose to the back (nose-to-rear silhouette) defines the proportion of the classic coupe, presenting a new ideal form of sport cars with universal attractiveness.Lexus announces that this LFA Concept is a model previously revealed as the "Lexus Sport Concept" on the Monterey Car Week 2025 and the Japan Mobility Show 2025, which are now back with new partial specifications and names.
