Google Photos Launches 2025 Recap Feature, Points Out Unique Moments Over A Year
JAKARTA Streaming platforms are not the only applications that present annual recap features. Like last year, Google Photos also brings back its photos and videos.
By presenting Recap, a feature that is only available once a year, users are expected to reminisce about various special moments. This Recap 2025 feature can turn photos and videos into interesting footage.
Like the previous year, Recap will highlight photos and memorable moments selected intelligently from all over the year. To make the display more attractive, Google adds graphics and cinematic effects.
Users will see photo statistics from last year. These statistics feature a row of the best people in Google Photos over the past year with the total photos that users managed to take.
This year, Google added a new category, which is the total selfie that users have. For users who are in the US and enable the Gemini feature in Google Photos, Recap 2025 they will become more personal.

The AI chatbot will feature important hobbies and moments that occur during 2025. Interestingly, this year users have the ability to personalize their content, namely hiding certain people and photos from Recap.
Google Photos is also now integrated with CapCut. By clicking the 'Edit with CapCut' button at the end of Recap, the clip will be easily exported to the app. In CapCut, users can select exclusive templates from Google Photos.
Users can find a Recap 2025 in the Carousel Kenangan in the near future. If it doesn't appear right away, users can visit the option to Make Recap at the top of the application. After being watched, this year's Recap will still be available on the carousel during December.
