Misusing PT Gus Lilur’s Name, MP Khilmi Faces Possible Report to the Ethics Council
SURABAYA Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives H. Khilmi is threatened with being reported to the Honorary Council (MKD) after allegedly using the name of the mining company owned by Khalilur R. Abdullah Sahlawiy or Gus Lilur. Khilmi, a legislator from the East Java IX electoral district (Gresik Lamongan), is said to use the name PT Ranggalawe Tuban Founder (Rapetu) without permission for mining purposes.
Gus Lilur emphasized that his party had never collaborated with PT Cemara Laut Persada (CLP), a mining company linked to Khilmi.
"Because the person concerned is a member of the DPR, I will report Khilmi to the MKD. This is a clear violation of ethics," said Gus Lilur.
Not only allegations of ethical violations, these actions are also considered to contain criminal elements. Gus Lilur said he had appointed a lawyer to process the report to the National Police Headquarters.
The alumni of the Denanyar Islamic Boarding School emphasized that the profiteering of the name PT Rapetu had harmed him, especially since he had not carried out excavation C mining activities for a long time.
"This is clearly a crime. He took my company name for profit," he said.
Case Revealed From Limestone Sales Report To JIIPE
PT Rapetu's attorney, idea Prima Hadiyanto, explained that the case involving PT CLP is currently being handled by the National Police Headquarters. From this process, Gus Lilur first learned that PT Rapetu was used without permission.
